The Action Plan for New Zealand Women
The Action Plan for New Zealand Women was launched by the Minister of Women's Affairs on 8 March 2004. It is a five-year whole-of-government programme to improve women's lives in the workplace, home, community and as members of society.
Work has been prioritised in three areas:
- economic sustainability
- work-life balance
- well-being.
The Ministry of Women's Affairs will co-ordinate implementation of the plan.
